Iran Travels Part 2 : Kashan

After 4 days of chill vibes in Shiraz, I took an overnight bus to Kashan, located between Isfahan and Tehran. I arrived at 5 am, just in time to meet my Momon, who was coming from the opposite direction in Tehran. It was our first time in Kashan, and I immediately fell in love with it.┬áThere were many other tourists in town, also visiting all of the beautiful traditional houses it’s known for. The only downfall was the Kashan bazaar, which left much to be desired, and next time I would skip. Here are a few of my favorite things in Kashan, Iran:

Favorite place to stay: Saraye Ameriha hotel (it’s a must!!)

Favorite rooftop for an insta photo shoot: Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse

Favorite traditional house: Tabatabaee House

Favorite spot for a meal: the tea house connected to the Tabatabaee House
