Iran Travels Part 3 : Tehran

For the last part of my trip, I headed to Tehran, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite cities. I love the beautiful parks and manicured parkways, which are often decorated with cool art installations and sculptures, and of course the murals that decorate the walls of so many buildings. Even more so, I love the street style in Tehran. The girls wear really unique manteaus, cool sneakers, and casually throw their head scarves across their shoulders; it really is so chic. I was super excited to purchase my first piece from Nofuxlabel, a local maison that designs the most beautiful manteaus, which are the overcoats/jackets that are required for women to remain covered. I also attended my first wedding in Iran (I’ve been to Iranian weddings before, but only in the U.S.), which was held in a garden outside of the city.

Here are a few of my favorite things from Tehran:

Favorite spot for a chic coffee date: J’ai Cafe (get the red latte)

Favorite maison for a manteau: Nofuxlabel (contact them on Telegram)

Best rooftop for live music and hanging out: Beautiful Life Cafe and Lounge

Favorite magazine: Ghaveh (they carry it at Beautiful Life Cafe!)

Favorite neighborhood and street: Tajrish and Fereshteh

Favorite fashion blog: The Tehran Times
